A financial services executive and fund officer with proven track record in fund accounting, financial administration, investment operations, transfer agency and SEC 38a-1 regulatory requirements. Back office and middle office expertise overseeing open and closed-end mutual fund operations. Major strengths include fund accounting, fund administration, treasury oversight, security valuation, board reporting, service provider oversight and investment operations. Responsible for treasury oversight of 33 fixed income and equity mutual fund products, with assets under management of approximately $25 billion*. Serve as the middle office escalation and resolution point of contact as questions or issues arise.Core responsibilities include:• Daily Fund Operations and Treasury Oversight: Oversee various service providers providing fund accounting, fund administration, custody, securities lending, audit and tax services. – NAV Review and issue resolution – Daily income review including yield spikes, class and corporate actions – Review and resolve valuation fluctuations – Participate in quarterly onsite meetings at service provider offices to evaluate service models to ensure expectations and key performance indicators are met.• Chair Valuation Committee and manage quarterly meeting process and annual due diligence visits.• Fund Budget : Review and implement annual expense budget, review and approve periodic expense accrual updates, monitor monthly expense ratios, review and approve weekly invoice allocations and payments and implement cost saving initiatives.• Review and approve shareholder reports and related financial statements• Review and approve quarterly and semi-annual SEC filings.• Oversee SOX certification and disclosure control procedures• Prepare and present quarterly board of trustee reports.• Document policies around fund operations and oversight matters• Support project management and implement strategic initiatives.*As of 12/31/13
