Other aspects of the role included determining safety stock levels, inventory optimisation, facilitation of S&OP, calculating pipefill volumes for new product launches and rebranding. A major function of the role was managing stakeholders, who included Marketing, National Business Mangers, Production, Regulatory, New Product Development and the Executive Team. Management of these stakeholders drove increased visibility, ownership and communication across the division leading to a culture of pro-active demand management to meet business objectives.
