Hey there! I am Benjamin Lau, a second-year undergraduate at DigiPen Institute of Technology (Singapore) pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Interactive Media, and Game Development. Through actively working on both school and personal projects, I have honed various technical skills and learned to work well in a team, be it as a Programmer or a Producer.I have always been passionate about playing games. Over the years, my enjoyment of games coerced me into the curiosity of game development, and now I find as much joy in developing games as playing them! In school, witnessing game projects slowly come to life from a game concept to a complete game will always give me an incomprehensible sense of exhilaration and gratitude for where I am today. In my own time, I work as a Student Coach in our school makers lab called the Catalyst, where students get together to work on their projects, be it school or personal, using various machinery or tools such as laser cutting, 3D printing, or traditional woodworking. Through this role, I have managed to interact with many other students of differing backgrounds and it is always exciting listening to their vastly different university experience!
