Ben Katz is a fintech attorney in Bradley’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. He serves as a trusted advisor and outside general counsel to companies in the electronic payments industry. Ben also counsels automotive industry clients in various bankruptcy and restructuring, including matters that involve supply chain crises that threaten production. Ben represents various stakeholders in complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings across the country.Ben enjoys helping clients in the Nashville business community navigate legal disputes and achieve comprehensive solutions in a cost-efficient manner.Ben has prosecuted or defended over 100 preference actions and negotiated claim objections on behalf of both creditors and trustees.Ben received his Juris Doctor with a certificate in Transactional Law from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. While attending Emory, he was a recipient of the Georgia Merit Scholarship, the AT&T Excellence in Pro Bono Scholarship, and the 2012 Dean’s Award for Public Service.
