I was responsible for dealing with clients face to face and over the phone, invoicing, filing, emailing colleagues and associated partners information and updates, dealing with cases from Cornwall Council for the supplying of a stairlifts, I would arrange the surveyor's calendar with appointments and liaise with clients and Occupational therapists regarding the needs of a client. I would also update databases with new clients and update any orders and check stock. I was also responsible for on call engineers and allocating them to jobs. I left the job as it was not viable for me, at the end of the probation period.

I was a Case Manager on Universal Credit benefits system, I was responsible for my own claims and claimants, I update the claim, request information, communicate with the claimants with a journal and via telephony. I liaise with my own team, other teams, organisations, government departments to setup or support a claim. I also calculate claimant's entitlements, make payments when needed and other various duties that are required.

I was responsible for updating claimants account, communicate via telephony, escalating any issues, deal with complaints according to policy, keep up to date on current procedures, guidance and legislation (including 5 days of leaning per year), I also dealt with posting forms out to claimants, advising them on routes to take, next steps and keeping to set performance targets as identified by management. I have also done floorwalking in other offices to support colleagues who are new to the role, during peak periods, I have also participated in end of year tax collections from individuals and Ltd Companies.

As part of this contracted work, I am involved in the NHS change over, from using Windows XP, to using the Windows 7 Operating System, I image and upgrade computers and laptops, replacing any XP based equipment with imaged, upgraded, Windows 7 equipment. I also helped deal with any queries from NHS staff during the changeover.

My main duties as part of the Fill Shift were to work cages of stock from deliveries, getting everything out, clearing space for the next delivery to arrive. I would help customers and operate tills in times of need, I regularly merchandised stock as part of my job, worked to a standard I had to follow in order to fulfil the stores presentational and health and safety requirements.
