I have over 25 years experience in market research, uncovering consumer insights and building agencies. I'm very interested in the energy transition and its impact on our world and I merged this concern with my MR background when founding Electrify Research in 2023. The aim of Electrify Research is to provide organizations with unique online tracking data based on surveys of homeowner attitudes and intentions viz a viz electrifying their homes. Our first tracker survey covers multiple markets and technologies and the results deliver in an intuitive dashboard. At my previous agency, YouthSight, which I set up in 2004 and led for 18 years, we provided specialist tracking surveys, panel services and hoc market research. We empowered brands and universities to connect with Gen Z and, before that, Millennials. We owned the UKs largest (and best) youth research access panel and we served clients including BBC, YMCA, Puma, ITV, Sport England, DfE, Oxford, Manchester and over 100 other universities. I sold YouthSight to Savanta in 2021 and I worked at Savanta for a year after that, until mid-2022 before founding Electrify Research in 2023.I am a Fellow of the Market Research Society (MRS) and I'm on the judging panel for their Annual Awards. I'm also an MRS Mentor, helping to guide early-career researchers.
