Ben Marks is a Managing Director and co-founder of Northborne Partners. Ben has spent his entire career focused on advising closely-held businesses, private equity firms and corporations on complex sell-side M&A transactions. Prior to Northborne, Ben was a Managing Director on BMO’s Middle Market M&A team focused on covering specialty industrial sectors (including transportation, chemicals and packaging). Most notably, Ben led BMO’s highly successful short line railroad advisory practice. Ben joined BMO as part of the firm’s acquisition of Greene Holcomb Fisher (GHF) in 2016. Ben received a BS from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
