I managed an SAP Portal team comprised of two US resources and one offshore resource. I configured LDAP as the portal UME. I setup Single Sign-On (SSO) between the Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Key Distribution Center (KDC) and SAP Portal to allow Kerberos authentication. I configured the SAP Portal to SSO all other backend users to Solution Manager, GTS, SCM, and ECC by launching SAP GUI from portal by passing SAP Logon Tickets through Citrix ICA clients. We implemented Citrix PS 4.5 and Web Interface 4.0 along with the Citrix provided par files with iViews and Roles configured for the SAP backend systems. I also reconfigured the Universal WorkLists(UWL) for SRM and HR in the consumer portal and HR producer portal.I worked from the client location in Austin, TX for the majority of the project, and also internationally for 1-2 months in Dresden, Germany.The project also included 3 additional phases, planned for completion near the end of 2009, and 2010. I met daily with the clientʼs HR, BI, and other business groups to gather requirements and define scope for these releases. I proposed and outlined productivity and maintenance enhancements to the Portal landscape and various business packages. I produced detailed technical and support documentation to hand over to the offshore support teams after the project team completed our work.

I also used UML for database and Java class design. I used Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to create databases and stored procedures for backend logic and reporting in our Java applications. I created a web service client proof of concept for SAP portal using DynPages, and Microsoft Internet Information Services using ASP.NET, to test connectivity and basic authentication between web services.
