I currently oversee Sony's Canadian VMI accounts including Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Futureshop and Loblaws as well as Meijer US and Kmart US. I have 3 direct reports that manage the day to day business of both Merchandising and inventory management for these accounts. In addition, I oversee multiple projects including but not limited to: Merchandising Budget Management, KPI management (Cost and On Hand) for our department, Invoicing and Invoice tracking and several other process improvement initiatives.

 Responsibilities include: acquiring wine samples from various wineries and distributors for potential wine reviews, writing and editing wine reviews, aiding in the management of all social media outlets including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and our main website. Attending wine tastings and wine related events to build contacts and generate buzz for Hipster Enology.  Responsibilities included: managing individual DVD sales accounts via third party merchandising companies. Indirectly managing a team of 5 people; overseeing their performance, implementing new initiatives and assigning tasks to the team.- Working directly with the sales teams to organize promotional activity and New Release schedule for accounts Maintaining optimal levels of inventory at over 2000 retail locations across the country. The accounts that I oversee generate $16.45 Million in Net. Revenue per year. Coordinating fixture, product, signage, and promotional materials deliveries. Analyzing sales trends, In-stock percentage, days of supply, fixture placement, low selling stores, and promotional compliance. Presentation of merchandising, operations and sales related topics to Retailer corporate offices as well as vendors. My account base has included: Best Buy, AAFES, Gamestop, Kroger, and several other grocery chains.
