Operations ManagerArriva Group Mar 2017 - Oct 2018North WestManaging the operational function at Wrexham depot was an exciting challenge that allowed me to work with significant autonomy to improve the depot’s performance. Firstly, I reviewed all operational processes to ensure compliance with legal and group auditing standards. The team of 110 operational staff were receptive to change and I made alterations to absence management, incident reporting and punctuality monitoring that proved highly beneficial. Absence for the year finished at less than 3.5% and punctuality for the entire depot rose to over 90%, the highest in the region. Without doubt, the above would not have been achieved without forging strong relationships between Operations and Engineering and between Managers and the Trade Union. -

In this role I delivered on immediate targets and set up processes for improvement in the future. -
