I worked on the eurozone team and was responsible for the country coverage of Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Ireland and the Nordic economies. I produced the bulk of Capital Economics' research on the peripheral economies throughout the eurozone crisis.I was also one of the co-authors of Capital Economics' Wolfson prize winning submission on eurozone breakup.

I worked as an economist in three divisions of the Monetary Analysis area of the Bank of England (which provides analysis for the MPC). While there, I also had a sponsored year out to study for an MSc in Economics at UCL.During my time at the Bank, I had roles that involved analysing monetary aggregates and credit, financial markets and the eurozone. I also co-wrote a Bank of England Working Paper.
