Here to make positive and lasting change in people's lives.I'm driven to create incredibly positive outcomes for both people and the planet, and to speed up the inevitable transition to a low carbon future. To aid others in achieving this, I unpack the complexity of human-centered systems, looking for key interactions we have with each other, our services, and our institutions to unlock our ability to make the most meaningful change. I love to use both novel and proven methods to tackle the biggest societal and environmental challenges that we face today. I firmly believe in using a ‘tools, not rules’ approach to problem-solving and my adaptability is a real strength. My roles working within government, commercial organisations, and design consulting practice have enabled me to experience solving complex problems from a range of perspectives. This gives me a unique ability to bring together diverse voices and opinions to be heard and understood equally so that they can work as effective partnerships. I hold a Bachelor of Design with Honours, majoring in Industrial Design. In order for Council to make informed decisions around begging and those who beg, they needed a clearer, more aligned understanding of begging in a Wellington context.
