Here to make positive and lasting change in people's lives.I'm driven to create incredibly positive outcomes for both people and the planet, and to speed up the inevitable transition to a low carbon future. To aid others in achieving this, I unpack the complexity of human-centered systems, looking for key interactions we have with each other, our services, and our institutions to unlock our ability to make the most meaningful change. I love to use both novel and proven methods to tackle the biggest societal and environmental challenges that we face today. I firmly believe in using a ‘tools, not rules’ approach to problem-solving and my adaptability is a real strength. My roles working within government, commercial organisations, and design consulting practice have enabled me to experience solving complex problems from a range of perspectives. This gives me a unique ability to bring together diverse voices and opinions to be heard and understood equally so that they can work as effective partnerships. I hold a Bachelor of Design with Honours, majoring in Industrial Design. My work Exploring Begging in Wellington was a finalist for a Best Award in the 2016 Public Good category.Some of my recent work includes:Developing market segment and experience strategies, and discovering what the future customer might look like at Z Energy.Working with key government partners in NZ's health and safety system to create incentives that push businesses to invest in better health and safety performance.Prototyping a digital solution to traffic enforcement issues with NZ Police.Working with the Auckland District Health Board's Tamaki Wellbeing Initiative to develop and grow their prototype Awhi Ora - Supporting Wellbeing service.Awhi Ora - Supporting Wellbeing toolkit: http://www.tamakiwellbeing.org.nz/toolkitsExploring the issue of begging in Wellington for Wellington City Council. In order for Council to make informed decisions around begging and those who beg, they needed a clearer, more aligned understanding of begging in a Wellington context.
