My background is in programming, I have completed an MEng in computer science and co-founded a web/mobile software company. Here I have developed skills in large and small scale software projects.I am coming to the close of my PhD project which involved determining which image a user is viewing from their brain activity. This required skills in machine learning, signal processing and computer vision - which I further developed with an internship as a data scientist and contract work as a data scientist and research assistant.I am interested in data scientist and data engineering roles, particularly in fields I studied during my PhD, however I would also enjoy applying the skills I have learned in a new problem space.
