Through the use of chemical and biological measures, the Center for Limnology provides water quality data used for regulatory compliance and general water quality monitoring.With the Center for Limnology, I collected water samples from sites around Colorado while also recording dissolved oxygen and pH data points. Transporting these samples back to the lab, I obtained metrics for phosphorous, nitrogen, chlorophyl, periphyton, hardness, and organic content levels through the use of manual and automated chemical methods including spectrophotometry and ion chromatography analyses.

As a member of the Resource Stewardship team, I created and deployed a physical trail condition assessment tool through ArcGIS to supplement existing ecological and cultural data; participated in invasive plant, breeding bird, and raptor nest surveys and mapping; and administered and identified species on Colorado Parks and Wildlife's iNaturalist page.
