I have had the privilege of studying at two very well known institutions, the University of Adelaide in South Australia and most recently Purdue University in Indiana. Studying advertising and PR while on the exchange program at Purdue inspired a passion for corporate communication and marketing strategy. Combined with the skills and insights I gained undertaking a Digital Production major in Adelaide, I enter the industry with a broad range of applicable skills and a solid overview of how campaigns and communications are taken from concept, to design, to delivery. I also understand the large influence that research has on the marketing process, and have undertaken electives throughout my course that focus on media industry and target audience research. I have been lucky enough to travel the world and use different forms of media to document my travels. This has given me a great cultural awareness and also broadened my experience of media use in other countries. I have furthered my knowledge of film production and photography and have been given the opportunity to implement these skills in my overseas endeavors; acting part-time as both a photographer and video producer at the American summer camps I have worked at.Now in Canada on a work permit, I am seeking for work in a broad range of media fields such as digital content creation, copywriting, social media management, marketing and events coordination which I could compliment with my design, photography and videography skills and potential.
