The Green Fellowship provides leadership development opportunities for Teach for America alumni who are dedicated to strengthening their instructional practice while augmenting their commitment to educational equity.In addition to serving in school-based roles, Green Fellows:-engage with a regional cohort to learn about and grapple with educational issues -connect with Green Fellows from across the country to share ideas and resources -receive coaching tailored to their instructional priorities

As a member of the English Language Arts Department at Crispus Attucks, some of my responsibilities are to: -Prep and teach courses including English 9, English 9 Honors, English 11, English 12, and CCR Bridge-Serve as an SEL Champion to aid in implementation of school wide SEL programming -Serve as a Class Sponsor to assist students in creating and executing class programs, events, fundraisers -Utilize Indiana State Standards to inform instruction-Scaffold and differentiate instruction for learners with exceptionalities -Create and maintain a classroom culture infused with principles of growth and respect-Participate in daily professional development meetings-Collaborate with grade-level teams to set strategy and pacing for instruction -Proctor and administer state and district assessments -Collect and reflect upon student achievement data -Maintain an online classroom in Schoology with updates, assignments, and resources -Advise approximately 20 students on topics such as career readiness and social-emotional learning

LIA is a 501c(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to build, activate and convene leaders. Our programming is focused on connecting citizens and resources to challenges facing the community at large.

Working as a Campus Tour Guide is not limited to the walking-tour aspect. Tour guides are involved in the scheduling and planning of tours for large groups, in addition to representing the university at large-scale recruitment events at the regional level. Other duties include data entry and analysis, assisting incoming students with the application process and answering questions on a case-by-case basis.
