I am currently working as an intern at Side 3 Studios in Denver, Colorado. I hope to utilize the skills and experience I gain here to acquire a full-time engineering position in a recording studio.Music has always been my passion, being a self taught musician I have always found a fascination for the industry. My aspirations for recording started while working on staff for the radio station 91.3 WHJE. For 3 years I ran my own show and worked on various projects, mostly creative works relating to music. Shortly after graduating high school I moved to Denver, Colorado in hopes of taking my mixing and mastering skills to a studio format. I enrolled in the Recording Connection apprenticeship program which placed me behind a board with a professional recording engineer at Conway Sound Studios. Through the curriculum taught there I learned how to utilize the digital audio workstation Pro Tools. Once receiving a certification in the program I was able to obtain my current intern position at Side 3 Studios. My overall plan is to work within this industry for the forthcoming future as my skill and knowledge grows.
