I am Senior asbestos consultant responsible for delivering asbestos awareness training and project management of asbestos remediation on site (for projects of over £1m). This role involves a huge amount of travel, self-motivation and, most importantly, an ability to get along with a diverse range of people, from a board room of building owners to Licensed asbestos removal contractors on a building site.

My role in this rapidly expanding Health & Safety company encompassed consultancy experience in a variety of fields, notably Asbestos Management, Fire Risk Assessments, Air Quality Assessments & Legionella Risk Assessments. In all situations I was responsible for applying Health and Safety legislation, guidance and best practise for a wide range of clients and environments. I was responsible for the final editing and presentation of reports to clients in a clear and concise manner.I was responsible for the management of internal Health and Safety at the company and regularly had to give training to other consultants on the significant risks associated with their work, notably working from height and lone working. I was also responsible for collating data on health and safety accidents and near misses within the company and complying with RIDDOR regulations.
