I managed learning technology across the Pierce College District. This includes three campuses, over 20,000 students and 1,000 employees. Navigating complex policies and organizational structure I have helped bring an innovative approach to educational technology at one of top ten community colleges in the country.I supervised a small team including an LMS administrator and helped manage our Canvas LMS through the pandemic with a 300% increase in online learners. I worked closely with multiple teams across the organization to achieve strategic goals including implementing an employee LMS, migrating to a new district wide HRIS and integrating a ticketing system shared by IT and eLearning to streamline student support.

I developed and taught Digital Design 170 - Foundations of Video Production during the Summer of 2020. This course was fully online and used Canvas, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition. Following backwards design principles and focusing on the Universal Design for Learning framework I developed the curriculum from scratch. This course included film and video history along with hands on training. I worked hard to convert a lab based course to fully remote by using mobile video technology and cloud storage solutions.
