I have a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry and Physics from Flinders University with specialties in materials science and organic chemistry, and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering. I am the Co-Founder of Bygen Pty Ltd, a deep tech start-up with a focus on developing a new, low-cost, method of producing high-quality and sustainable activated carbon from agricultural wastes. I am responsible for determining and implementing our company-wide R&D program, I am also responsible for managing our finances (both day-to-day and forecast) as well as assessing any legal paperwork that comes our way (including ASIC paperwork, NDA's from clients/partners, contracts and more) to determine whether we need to engage our legal counsel, or whether we can deal with it in-house.Over the course of my career, I have garnered and refined a wealth of expertise, among which are, strategic leadership, business planning, corporate governance, financial management, and relationship management.
