Born in Essex, I have spent my whole life being fascinated by Art and Design. I studied at Thurrock College before completing my degree in Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Arts. The past ten years (PLUS) I have worked on a mixture of freelance projects, self initiated projects and working within the design industry. Predominately trained as a Graphic Designer, I also have strong illustrative skills, having taken illustration as my elective at Camberwell for 3 years. I don’t think the label of Designer or Illustrator matters really, it is the conceptual thinking and the realisation of the conecpt that really counts and this is where I believe I excel.My skillsets include adobe creative cloud inc Photoshop, illustrator and indesign, I also have extensive working knowledge of microsoft powerpoint having worked on many high profile presentations for FluCamp and hVIVO in the past 5 years.Some notable achievements of mine have been the rebranding of FluCamp and Retroscreen Virology. In 2008 I was commissioned by Ogilvy Uk to create a number of artworks over a period of 18 months to be displayed in their Canary Wharf ofiices.As a life long Liverpool FC fan I was thrilled in 2011 to be accepted by the Marina Dalglish Appeal to create a screenprint of thelegendary Kenny Dalglish. I created a limited run of 35 prints and they were sold, raising a sum of £750.00 for the appeal.In 2016 I embarked on an ambitious project to create an illustration a day, everyday for a year. This was quite the task as I had to combine this with working full time but I succesfully completed the project on 31st Decmber 2016. I raised over £3000 via Kickstarter to turn the project into a book and sold prints and books to raise a total of £1200 for a local charity.
