My time spent as a member of the Performance Unit at SAS allowed me the opportunity to experience a professional sporting work environment. Inclusive of my responsibilities I was required to coach professional, semi-professional and recreational athletes. This diversity developed my ability to adapt my approach dependant on the task.Role: Head S&C coach for Paul Roos U.16 rugby team and U.16 – U.19 tennis players.Responsibilities : Identifying season objectives, programming current and future sessions to ensure progression, pre and post-season testing, compiling progress reports.Role: Assistant S&C coach for Western Province U.19 academy team.Responsibilities: Design and implementation of injured players sessions, tracking of session tonnages, performance testing.Role: Assistant S&C coach for SA Under 20 rugby team.Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in conducting training sessions and performance testing in preparation for the Under 20 Rugby World Cup.
