I am a Doctoral Researcher based at Institut "Jožef Stefan", and associated with the University of Ljubljana, investigating hypoxia (altitude) tolerance in prematurely-born adults and other vulnerable populations. In 2020 I graduated with an MSci Sport and Exercise Science degree from the University of Bath, during which I completed a placement year as a physiology intern at the Western Australian Institute of Sport.I have a keen interest in exercise physiology research, particularly in the acute and chronic responses to hypoxic exposure. Given my undergraduate research background, I also enjoy following emerging concepts in nutrition and metabolic physiology. Ultimately, I am keen to understand how exercise physiology principles may be applied to facilitate athletic performance, or in the context of human health and disease.
