I'm Ben, I am passionate about all things to do with technology. I am particularly interested in computer graphics, virtual reality and simulation. I like solving real world problems using these technologies and get a huge amount of satisfaction from seeing the fruits of my labour. I have a lot of experience building Virtual Reality applications for training, process development and design review. My PhD research was focused on the use of VR to support nuclear decommissioning. As part of this research I designed and built two training simulators using Unreal Engine. The work was focused on the development of real world remote handling skills using VR and simulation.
