Broad talent acquisition and development experience supporting the experience of prospective and current embarkers. Co-owned the recruiting & hiring process for a significant expansion period at Embark from ~75 to ~250 employees while opening 4 new markets and 4 new consulting practice lines. Transitioned into a people development role in 2021 where I collaborated and built development frameworks including our professional growth philosophy, competency models, feedback mechanisms, learning programs, promotion pathways, Whole Human Development support, and coaching playbook. I also enjoyed creating a variety of thought leadership pieces including monthly firm-wide development updates, trainings for our behavioral analytics tool, and talent development marketing podcasts.

I led the Audit, Tax, and Advisory campus recruiting efforts in the Deloitte Denver office. This entailed collaboration with hundreds of Deloitte client service and talent professionals as well as the students, faculty, and staff from 6 key campuses in the region. I assisted in the development and execution of national strategies for one of Deloitte’s most important Early ID initiatives, Envision, targeting 1,000+ high performing students every year. I leveraged a variety of technologies to improve recruiter resources, trainings, and data. I created and presented analysis of the retention and performance of campus hires providing data driven strategies for local recruiting efforts. Ultimately improved cross-functional conversion results year over year, as high as 85%, through revamped recruiting initiatives. I was also involved in national talent strategy initiatives including the development and roll out of a recognition app.

Industry focuses included manufacturing & financial services. Performed analytical tests to detect unusual financial statement relationships. Planned and completed testing procedures to substantiate fair presentation of financial statements and related disclosures based on risk assessments. Conducted internal control walkthroughs to ensure proper design, execution, and documentation of key business processes.
