- Leading a three man team operating a 40MW straw burning power plant.- Safe and efficient operation of the plant within PPC license limits.- Fuel management.- Front line maintenance.- Organisation of out of hours contractor support.- Leadership of daily generation review meeting.- Prioritisation of operational/maintenance requirements.- Contractor control.- Authorised Person under the Safe System of Work.- Use of CMMS for defect reporting, work pack preparation and routine maintenance reporting.- Use of computerised purchasing and budgeting packages.- Participation in staff recruitment, training and development.- Progressing development of plant performance monitoring.- Authorised for 11kV switching.

- Operating the plants DCS system to maximise plant efficiency while ensuring that we cohere to our PPC permits.- Carrying out plant routine tasks and first line maintenance.- Carrying out regular inspection of the plant to ensure correct functioning of equipment.- Identifying faults and trouble shooting to suggest solutions to SMT.- Completing planned preventive maintenance tasks generated from the computer based maintenance system.- Carrying out routine plant and equipment monitoring.- Carrying out cleaning duties.- Working to the company’s safe systems of work at all times.- Ensuring the plant meet the company’s safety & environment standards and carryout safety and environmental related routine duties as required.- Overseeing of Suppliers and Contractors.
