The Fore’s mission is to open up access to funding and skills for innovative, grassroots charitableorganisations solving the UK's most pressing issues. As a Consultant, I will be identifying and advise the best candidates for Fore's funding and strategic support, and present them to Fore funding panels, playing a pivotal role in unlocking unrestricted funds and support.

I am working for a number of clients part time and on contract, on fundraising, development, capital campaigns, small charity governance/troubleshooting, and heritage strategy. I am currently working for @BordeHillGarden and a number of other impactful charities, regionally and nationally.

I am also part-time Associate Consultant for Amplify - a fundraising and evaluation consultancy helping charities, arts organisations, and community groups to have the best possible impact in their work.

I was responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day running of West Horsley Place & Trust. I oversaw delivered on the organisation’s business plans, fundraising, and was responsible for managing and progressing relationships with stakeholders locally -and nationally. My role also involved the planning and oversight of the next phases of conservation work at West Horsley Place- from the grade I listed house to the Barn and stable-block buildings. I was also a Director of West Horsley Place Ltd.

I was responsible for the vision, strategic leadership and overall management of the pioneering arts-in-health charity, Paintings in Hospitals. Working with the Board of Trustees and the team, we created and implemented artistic, strategic and business plans and programmes to expand the reach and impact of the charity. My role included overseeing fundraising activities and campaigns; forging new partnerships and projects. I led on finance, legal and HR, and acted as Company Secretary. I worked with a great team of staff to achieve our joint objectives, maximising their potential, and the potential of the charity by building bigger relationships with our supporters and partners. In addition, I represented and advocated for visual arts in health, within the arts and health communities and the media - to be a voice for all those who know that art improves people's health and wellbeing.

Primarily responsible for the successful development of the NLHF R2 submission for the restoration of Burlington Gardens - the expansion of the Royal Academy- coordinating all aspects - leading to the RA being awarded a grant of £12.7M in November 2013, and allowing the project to progress to RIBA stage E. Main point of contact between the RA, project team and NLHF; Chair of Project Delivery Group & Activity Working Group and Burlington Gardens Working Group. I was an active Member of the Client Committee, Project Board and Briefing Group.Oversaw the development of the Activity Plan programme, working closely with the Buildings & Estates team responsible for implementation of the David Chipperfield Masterplan. Worked to push forward Audience Development and people-focused decision-making within and across the RA. Worked with Donald Insall to complete 10 Year Conservation Management Plan, and worked up a new Heritage Learning Programme (with Learning, Collections and Architecture depts). Contributed to Burlington Gardens Business Plan.

Managed the High Street 2012 Historic Buildings Scheme & Heritage, Culture & Community Grants Programme on behalf of all HS2012 funders & stakeholders;Achievements included: the restoration of over 100 buildings in the historic east end in time for the 2012 London Olympics, & procurement and management of multi-disciplinary professional team, including architects, contractors and surveyors; and on-site project management.Created project website and social media. Main point of contact for building owners, shopkeepers, community groups and funders. Co-curator of HS2012 "Summer Safari" - a weekend Olympic arts and heritage festival, to celebrate achievements on High Street 2012 and mark 1 month until the Games began.Project support to numerous public realm schemes at Aldgate, Mile End, Stepney, Bow, Whitechapel (with Crossrail) and Stratford (in conjunction with with GLA and LB Newham);£7M budget holder, risk manager; responsible for all funding claims and supplier payment.

Headed up grant and corporate fundraising for environmental charity WasteWatch, now part of the Keep Britain Tidy group; driving forward project ideas, sourcing opportunities; authoring cases for support and bid work.

Project Manger for the then GLE of the London Councils- European Social Fund Capacity Building project for NGOs, community and voluntary organisations in London. Responsible for project staff and budget. Prior to this role, I worked for 6 months as a Project Support Officer for the London Development Agency / ESF capacity building project to Boroughs, colleges, and social enterprises.

Policy Officer, as part of the Operations Management Team for this affordable housing provider. Projects included assisting the housing development team, improving internal communications, policy and report-writing, resident involvement projects, fund-raising and other community work.
