I help others learn about MongoDB. My specialties include transforming relational data models to denormalized, document data models, writing and optimizing MongoDB queries, deploying sharded clusters at scale, building MEAN stack applications, and integrating into public cloud stacks (AWS, Azure, GCP). I love spending time with customers and helping them with how to best utilize the document data model.

Work closely with the Analytics Platform Sales Specialist to solve technical related matters for customers during pre-sales progression Demonstrate to clients the outcomes they can achieve with IBM's CDS portfolioResponsible for learning our client's business requirements, technical requirements and competitive landscape and applying their technical knowledge and experience to recommend new solutions to these clientsDelivering demonstrations, and proof of concepts with offerings like Cloudant, dashDB, Spark as a Service, and BigInsights for Cloud Responsible for collaborating with the sales representatives to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions. Support technical design solutions and answer technical questions throughout the sales process in order to progress/close sales and develop customer relationships. Assist the sales representatives with quantifying the value proposition of our solutions Have an understanding of products, offerings and services within the Cloud Data Services portfolio and Analytics portfolio, as well as business acumen

• Provide technical guidance through all phases of client interaction• Represent the Cloudant services/solutions to customers thru development and delivery of product demonstrations• Planning, data design, implementation, data migration, developing Proof of Concept (PoC), training, and mentoring at various stages thru customer life cycle engagements• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Tech Support and Operations teams to assist customers solve big data problems of incredible scale.

Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex application configurations and solutions. Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer application configurations and solutions. Provide training to sales staff throughout the year as new features are added to the software. Lead product demonstrations to incoming new-hires and prospects.Notable projects:- Lead a team of 4 Big Data Enterprise Architects in building out 6 different industry tenants with relevant data for demonstrations. As the product expert, I designed the process for execution (a 2-day intensive workshop) and served as a tutor/mentor while building out the demonstration data.- Certified on the Workday Foundation demonstration which is: 1. Designed to deliver Workday's SaaS delivery model and the value it brings to our customers 2. Explain The Power of Objects and how they enable users to accomplish things they could not in legacy software
