Primary responsibilities: • Working with other team members to develop a library of code to be used in various projects. • Estimate time requirements for tasks and notify supervisor of any issues. • Maintaining and updating legacy code. • Working with stakeholders to design and implement new projects. • Writing SQL queries to return data to users as reports. • Preform testing on code. • Diagnose and fix issues with applications. • Being on-call when needed. • Participate in code review meetings. • Assist other team members when needed.Projects Worked On: IMG Main Menu A custom application written in Java that interfaced with Oracle E-business Suite. I developed many reports and tools for this system. IMG Inbound Shipping A custom Object-Oriented Java program that tracked shipments that needed to be picked up. The program also printed reports used in shipping. I designed and implemented this system by myself. IMG Pricings A custom Java program for managing price lists and customer discounts. This was an update of a legacy system written in VB6. I also designed and implemented this system. IMG Parse A custom VB.Net program for parsing EDI PO documents and importing them into Oracle. It used a MS SQL database. I helped to maintain this system and implemented logic to set up consignment orders. SHIMS Data Import A program to export data from a legacy SHIMS ERP system and import the data into our Oracle database.
