Ben Phee is Founder and Managing Director of Phee Group of Companies. Established in 1993, Ben has skippered Phee Group from its roots as a shipping and freight forwarding agency to become the fully integrated regional logistics service provider that it is today. Phee Group focuses on the Indochina region and is operationally headquartered in Myanmar whilst being financially administered in Singapore. Satellite offices locations include Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. The Group handles Liner Agencies, Container Shipping, Cargo Sales Agencies, Global Freight Forwarding, Warehousing and Distribution and Supply Chain Solutions. In 2017, the Group opened a state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Yangon with a capacity of 60,000 square feet of space to handle both conventional and cold chain logistics.Prior to founding Phee Group, Ben gained experience with some of the largest Singapore-based MNC freight forwarding companies. He is a strong advocate of continued learning and has completed the International Executive Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, Paris and the SEM EDP Program at the Tsinghua University, Beijing. Venturing into Myanmar in 1990 as a pioneer entrepreneur, Ben continues to be inspired by challenging business opportunities, localized community support and mutually beneficial partnerships. Ben maintains a high level of physical fitness and in his free time enjoys outdoor physical challenges which have included summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. He is husband to Karen Wang and father of 2 children who have both recently graduated from their respective universities.
