Acting as a trusted strategic partner I ensure that digital and technology challenges are supported throughout their lifecycle. By collaborating with teams across BEIS Digital, including technical specialists and the portfolio management team to triage new ideas, I successfully navigate ideas into delivery.

Successfully leading (remotely) 8 teams (65 staff) in 2 different locations I acted as trustee and liquidator of insolvent cases and investigate the insolvency of bankruptcy and company cases. I was an officer of the court, answerable for carrying out court’s orders and fulfilling my statutory duties under the Insolvency Act.

Leading a small team, I supported the Operational Director and senior management based in 5 sites across the UK. Working with internal and external stakeholders I successfully built strong relationships to deliver operational benefits by explicitly stating and then actively managing risks, maximising benefits, and anchoring new approaches in the culture by encouraging everyone to innovate and think about how they can improve processes.

Led the central corporate reporting function to provide high-quality analysis and insights to bring together complex analysis into a compelling narrative.

I led an office, responsible for 27 staff, realising long term assets and distributing the monies realised back to creditors.

Project manager in a Business Process Redesign Project for the Insolvency Service. The goal was, over a 2 year period, tackle operational deficit to return the Insolvency Service to break even through delivering efficiencies of 10 -15 %. The project was successfully signed off 6 months ahead of schedule having delivered the savings detailed in the Insolvency Service Annual Plan
