Responsible for leading the reengineering of accounting, regulatory calculation, reporting and forecasting processes in a cloud-based environment which are simpler, faster and enable greater value to be derived from our data.

Responsible for implementing a service management framework across UBS, focusing on total cost of ownership. Initiated and led the strategic billing model project sponsored by the GCOO and GCFO which has delivered greater cost transparency and accountability across the firm.

Responsible for Cost Management and Enterprise Shared Services application delivery, specializing in SAP solutions. Developing and delivering the technology architecture, road map and business case to enable best-in-class cost management at UBS.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and later to the Head of Group Operations, I established and managed a new large-scale team (~1000 people) consolidating reporting and analysis skills and activities from the Finance, Risk, Operations and Technology groups. Worked with key decision making groups and governing bodies at UBS to provide actionable business insights, spanning the firms Financial KPIs, Risk and Treasury frameworks, Client and Sales profitability and measures of Operating Effectiveness.

Reporting to IB CFO, established and managed a new global team responsible for financial accounting compliance and disclosure governance, accounting methodology, accounting standards adoption, operational risk analysis and new business on-boarding.
