I joined the logistics department to be apart of a team that stressed on time management and creative thinking. This department aimed to find the most efficient ways to save time and money while performing the tasks at hand. I was given these tasks and allowed to find better ways to perform them. I came up with the idea to reuse the cardboard boxes to save money and time. I learned how to creatively think of new processes and ways to work in order for the company to run as efficiently as possible.• Helped restructure process of picking parts from warehouse for more efficient operations • Implemented cardboard recycling program to save money.• Picked, packaged and shipped pumps and other parts to customers throughout U.S. to fulfill their purchase order.

This internship gave me the opportunity to use the knowledge that I've gained from past courses and apply it in a real work setting. I joined the Equip Solutions marketing team looking to gain experience in marketing and to positively impact the company with new ideas. This internship gave me what I was looking for and gave me more experience in this field. I learned how to track sales trends by looking at different spreadsheets.
