Registered Electrician with over 15 years experience working nationally and internationally within the industry and across a range of sectors. The primary years of my apprenticeship were within the high-end residential and architectural build areas, where I discovered a love for the aesthetic finishing, the effect of great lighting and its ability to bring buildings and areas to life.I further up skilled in NZ with courses in PLC programming at MIT as I looked to move overseas and work within the heavy industrial sector. Upon qualifying I worked privately in Samoa undertaking a commercial contract before settling in Perth and working throughout the mining and resource industry. My work ethic, attention to detail, ability to learn allowed me to work within the mining, oil and gas and heavy haulage for some of the worlds largest companies.Noticing New Zealand's growth and required infrastructure upgrades across the regions, I decided to return and start Railey-Williams Electrical & Data. Originally a partnership the business moved to sole ownership early 2019 as my previous business partner returned to Perth for family reasons.With the country's growth I could see the requirement for a transparent, big picture electrical contracting company and where the business may excel in the current economic cycle. Since its conception Railey-Williams Electrical & Data has evolved to now provide design services and looks to be a more design build / turn key provider. We work closely with a number of other electrical contractors and wish to play more of a leadership role within the industry in the years to come.I am passionate about seeing projects run smoothly from conception through to completion and ensuring our customers needs are meet and in turn building lasting professional relationships.I am also very passionate about my staff and their well being as the business grows. Retention is a key component to Railey-Williams Electrical & Data and ensuring we provide professional development.
