Hi! I am a second year physiotherapy student at the University of Alberta. Upon finishing my master's degree, I aim to pursue a career working with athletes to safely and effectively rehabilitate sports related injuries. Over the course of my studies, I have developed a passion for individualized exercise programming. I enjoy the challenge of tailoring an exercise program directly to the biomechanical and physiological needs of the recipient and the reward of watching their progression. I hope to incorporate this passion into my practice throughout my career.I have gained prior clinical experience volunteering with multiple physiotherapy agencies as well as Cerebral Palsy Alberta. I have worked as a Kinesiologist at Advanced Health Physio and Hand Clinic where I was involved in creating, coaching, and monitoring rehabilitative exercise programs for a variety of client populations. I hope to continue gaining experience to expand my knowledge and grow as a professional as I continue my education.
