• Responsible for testing of new ultrasonic water meters for both residential and commercial applications including head loss testing, accuracy testing, debug data collection etc.• Designed and built test fixture to quantify evaporative loss during lab testing in order to increase the accuracy and reliability of lab results. • Programmed production meter registers using LabVIEW software.• Performed competitive analysis on rival's less expensive meter to determine where Neptune can improve in order to succeed in a competitive market.• Researched, designed, and built test fixture to check if production meter registers have enough moisture sealed inside of the assembly to create a condensation problem later in the product’s life.• Researched cost effective and efficient solutions to ensure register assemblies have minimal moisture content when sealed.• Worked with operations floor workers to schedule testing and production times for commercial ultrasonic meters to ensure quality meet production deadlines.• Studied manufacturing process in order to implement improvements to decrease production time and unit cost as well as increase product quality.
