• Electrochemical benchmarking of cell suppliers, considering rate capability, OCV vs SoC, pulse power, lifetime and fast charge on Maccor / Bitrode cyclers. Covering NCA, LFP, LMFP, Na-ion, NCM622, NCM811 w/SiOx anodes.
• Data elaboration and analysis using Excel / Matlab of the benchmarking data to generate tabulated / graphical data for PowerPoint reports.
• Cell teardown and material extraction within a glovebox, including analysis of CT-scans to assist teardown, incision of cell casing, separation of internal components, electrolyte extraction and cleaning of samples for.
• Material characterisation including the use of SEM / EDS, ICP-OES, AFM and TGA on the aforementioned chemistries.
• Developing technology roadmaps for business cell strategy.
• Liaising with suppliers and collaborating on test procedures to support benchmarking activities.
