• In my role as Principal Engineer - Vehicle Structures, I have technical responsibility for the following: design and development of new vehicle structures, sign-off of structural design changes, material selection/standardisation, driving design commonality across the product range, technical problem solving of structural reliability issues/failures and investigating new technologies and materials. I also have management responsibility for the vehicle structures team. This includes ensuring the team delivers to milestones, performance appraisals, personal development and general line management.• Took ownership of whole vehicle analysis for 14 months. During this time, I brought together the chassis and body analysis engineers to create the whole vehicle analysis team. In this time the team produced whole vehicle models with improved detail and accuracy, particularly focusing on the modelling representation of suspension inputs. The team also began its journey away from being predominately a design validation function to becoming an analysis function that leads design.• Structural responsibility and oversight for the following vehicle projects: Enviro 500 Superlo; Enviro 500 North America (stainless steel, buy America compliant frame); Enviro 500 3 door 2 staircase; Enviro 500 BVG; Enviro 500 EV (North America) and Enviro 500 LTA.

• Ongoing leadership of the Enviro 400 chassis team. This included overseeing the workloads of 7 engineers, maintaining up to date project plans, focusing on the timely completion of Engineering milestones, leading design reviews and reporting project statuses in high level business meetings.• Resumed role of Chassis Team Lead Engineer for the Enviro 400 MMC vehicle, to lead the team for pre-production and production builds and to run the E400 MMC Hybrid projects.• Worked as Lead Engineer (Chassis Project Lead) for 4 months on the E500 MMC vehicle for North America. During this time, I particularly focused on managing the off-site resource, developing project time sheets and weekly meetings to ensure accurate tracking of project statuses.• Promoted to the role of Chassis Team Lead Engineer for the Enviro 400 MMC vehicle project. In this role I led the team from a technical and project perspective, right from initial concept through to prototype build. Notable achievements during this time include delivering the project objectives of a lightweight, well packaged, easy to build chassis; successfully implementing full chassis pipe design for the first time; developing the CAD model modular structure; and driving the chassis team towards working in a cohesive and organised manner.

As the project progressed, I took on significantly more responsibility for the project receiving only minor supervision from the Chassis Lead Engineer.
