I attended the University of Cincinnati where I received a Associate degree in Aviation Technology along with my Commercial, Instrument and CFI certificates. I then began Flight Instructing while finishing a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University. I became the Assistant Chief Flight Instructor for South Dakota State University for a year while helping them start the Aviation Program. I then flew freight in C310 and C402 for Business Aviation Courier out of Sioux Falls, SD. I then became a First Officer for Mesaba Airlines for 5 years. After being furloughed I became the Chief Flight Instructor for the University of Cincinnati. While there I also became a Designated Pilot Examiner in the Greater CIncinnati area. I left there to become and instructor for Flight Safety on the C-560XL. After once again being laid off I became an Aviation Safety Inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration. After 10 years with the FAA I left for my current position as a pilot for American Financial Group where I fly the DA-7x & the DA-Easy (900).
