Engineering Technician
Current- Responding to a variety of mechanical and electrical breakdowns, using fault finding and failure analysis to find workable solutions within specific timeframes to help maintain the operational productivity of the site.- Create, develop, and disseminate accurate and precise records and SSOW and SOP manuals for variety of work tasks, utilising parts, components, and materials booked out through stores.- Develop and build rapports with other site specific and global department teams, to develop solutions that meet and exceed productivity expectations and requirements. - Worked closely with global technical support and analysis teams to develop strategies to increase product, machinery, equipment, and mechatronic hardware and technology reliabilities throughout the CFC site, whilst simultaneously sharing valuable insights into specific ‘not seen before failures’ to assist with preventative design and contingency planning.- Communicated with departments to determine ways to increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment, diagnose equipment breakdowns and action repairs, ensuring the direction of labour and planned engineering activities to fully support the operation.- Attend and presented data and insights in meetings as required, to assist in management decision making in finding performance-based solutions.- Consistently lead and promoted a health and safe working environment and assisted in the development of various risk assessments to raise awareness throughout the Eng Ops department.- Supported the coaching and training of new engineers, engineering technicians & maintenance technicians throughout their career advancement.
