Do you know how resilient you have to be to march 35 miles in red clay while its raining with a 70 pound rucksack on your back? I have and if you haven't, good because it is not really a useful skill set other than to help you understand my work ethic, I don't quit. With over 10 years of trained leadership and operations management I battled everyday to better understand guests and tore open every door that allowed me insight into who they are and what they desired. Through diligent work and constant communication with my team and open conversation with customers I have been successful in building teams that become part of their community making our locations staples in the area. This process, like the hike, takes resiliency and an understanding of how impactful it is to be proactive and not reactive in your practice. This has lead to me confidently build SOP's, train the trainer, training guides and recipe cards that are still in use today with multiple concepts.
