As a Cyber Risk Partner at Newell Brands, I am the liaison between our Global Information Security team and the business. I get the cyber security team involved at the start of all new IT projects at Newell. In this way we become a partner in the development process, instead of being the “Ministry of No” at the end of the project. When I find a security problem, I connect the business with the security team that can most effectively resolve the issue. At Hertz Global, as the Security Awareness Specialist, I developed and manage a strategic cybersecurity awareness program to increase user knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices across 150 countries. I used a combination of live teaching, social media, print, and electronic materials.For the past 35 years I have been a professional sleight of hand magician.
