About Ben Salzman, Cfa
I learned the importance of hard work playing football from childhood through college and leveraged that work ethic in my research and analysis of equities when I discovered that passion in high school. At Claremont McKenna I studied Economics-Accounting and Mathematics to hone my skills in financial analysis and quantitative techniques. I continued to build on these skills at Deloitte and CPK before attending USC to complete my MBA focusing on data science and investment management as part of the Student Investment Fund. While completing my MBA I also taught myself Python which I put into use during my internship at the CME. I worked closely with the founder of Heaton Capital Management with the goal of helping PE firms manage portfolio liquidity risk through the public derivatives markets before embarking on my own venture. I manage a diversified investment portfolio of equities, derivatives, and private investments utilizing a synthesis of fundamental, technical, and quantitative analysis.
