With a lifelong passion for sports, I've integrated my love for athletics with academic pursuits. Starting with competitive tennis and transitioning to football during my teenage years, I've always found fulfillment on the field. Academic achievements initially led me down the path of English studies, where I excelled with two Grade 9s at GCSE level. However, it was during my A-levels that I discovered my true passion for psychology, earning the prestigious Dr. Martin Psychology Award for my school—a testament to my dedication in the subject. Pursuing this passion further, I embarked on a BSc in Psychology at Keele University, where I not only excelled academically but also made significant contributions to the sports community. As the captain of the first football team, we clinched notable victories, leading us to winning the BUCs Tier 3 League and the Futsal Tier 4 League, all while being honored with the title of Clubman of the Year. This period solidified my belief in the interconnectedness of psychology and sports, motivating me to delve deeper into the field. During my year off, I engaged in youth football coaching at both a semi-pro and social level, gaining invaluable insights into player development and mentoring. Alongside this, I returned to Keele University as a volunteer coach for the mens first team who had no coach at the time, allowing them to stay on track competitively throughout the season. Now, as I embark on my journey at Loughborough University pursuing a Master's in Sport and Exercise Psychology, I aim to further enhance my understanding and expertise in sports psychology. Alongside my studies, I continue to fuel my competitive spirit by representing Loughborough in futsal, demonstrating my commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.
