After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management, Ben worked in hotel operations in the Detroit area. In 1973, he joined Harper Associates, a personnel placement agency which had just entered the hospitality recruitment industry. After proving his success and finding his career passion quickly, Ben later became the President of Harper Associates. Through the years, Ben has built an excellent reputation for placing Executives, Managers and Culinary professionals in the hotel, restaurant, casino, resort, country club and food service industries. In addition, he handles specialized Executive Searches for prestigious corporations, along with exclusive assignments for Executive Assistants and Estate/Private Service staff. With over thirty years of personnel placement experience, Ben has enhanced and guided the careers of hundreds of individuals and has also developed many extremely successful management teams for numerous employers. Ben remains active in MSU alumni activities.
