As a member of the senior leadership team for the Small Business and Self-Employed Group, I act as the Chief Counsel for the SBSEG ecosystem of products and services, including QuickBooks, Mailchimp, QB Capital, Payroll and Payments and provide advice on all areas of the business, including product and regulatory compliance, M&A, litigation, investigations and crisis management. I also co-lead the Legal Products group, a team of 8-12 products attorneys, who partner closely with the business to build delightful product offerings that are compliant and help solve enduring customer problems. In my role as a member of the senior leadership team of the Legal, Compliance and Policy Organization, I am passionate about developing the next generation of legal leaders and have spearheaded an organizational redesign of the legal team to better align our teams around the work we do and provide clearer pathways to promotion as well as mobility opportunities. I have also been given the opportunity to lead many cross-Intuit initiatives, including operationalizing our platform data strategy and developing principles around offering free products.

As a member of the senior leadership team for the Consumer Group, I act as the Chief Counsel for the TurboTax and provide advice on all areas of the business, including product and regulatory compliance, M&A, litigation, investigations and crisis management. In this role, I have been at the center of the most transformative initiatives in the Consumer Group, including the acquisition of Credit Karma, which required the divestiture of the Credit Karma's tax business, operationalizing our platform data strategy and developing principles around offering free products.

Senior member of Corporate Securities and M&A team that oversees corporate governance, SEC filings, Board of Directors and Board Committee support, M&A, minority investments and divestitures. Completed over 40 deals during my time in this role, including:* $340M acquisition of time sheet management business for Small Business Group.* $1B divestiture of financial services provider to private equity firm.* $425M acquisition of SaaS marketing business.* Simultaneous auction process for divestiture of three legacy businesses ultimately sold to private equity buyers.* Numerous international deals (Israel, New Zealand, UK and India), including two where I acted as both lead attorney and corporate development lead. I also led a multi-year, cross-company initiative on data and document management, focusing on data security, data governance and data stewardship, which included significant coordination with Intuit's GDPR initiative. I developed and operationalized the reporting process for new SEC reporting requirement on conflict minerals and worked closely with finance team to streamline filing of our periodic reporting.

I led the restructuring of Solyndra's corporate debt, including the first ever restructuring under the DOE Loan Guarantee program as well as new equity and credit lines. I also oversaw the contested Chapter 11 bankruptcy process and Solyndra's response to the highly politicized congressional and criminal investigations, which led to an orderly winding down of Solyndra's business and despite significant political pressure, no indictments against Solyndra or any of its employees.

Member of executive management team and leader of Solyndra's legal department, including a patent attorney, two senior commercial attorneys and two paralegals. Negotiated significant equity capital raises in excess of $750M. Responsible for negotiation and closing of first ever loan under the DOE Loan Guarantee Program for $535M. Led the IPO process, including the initial submission to the SEC of Solyndra's S-1 in December 2009. Built out legal department in preparation for public company compliance obligations.
