Having started my career as a junior in a small studio in Kent serving the conference and events industry my journey continued when I took a position at a studio that focussed on more commercial, customer-facing work such as music and sports posters and calendars. After spending four years in the position I decided the time was right to widen my portfolio and became a freelancer which allowed me to offer a more diverse skillset to new and existing clients. While the chance to work in different industries - and with a fresh client base - was exciting it was Dan Hellewell at DH Design who showed me unwavering loyalty from the very start of my freelance career, and when in 2007 I was asked to join the company full time I didn’t hesitate. In the years that followed I repaid his loyalty and together we continued to build on the already strong foundations that Dan had laid. We steered the company though the harder times of the 2007 financial crash and recession, and latterly the Covid-19 epidemic while managing to keep the majority of our loyal client base and grow DH Design at a steady pace - adding excellent experience to the team along the way. From the early days of offering high-end, print-based media we have grown the business and our expertise by adding cutting-edge digital media, animation and full project management to our repertoire. DH Design’s future is bright, our design team is professional, hard working and will always go the extra mile for our clients - a mentality installed by Dan and adopted and further instilled in the team myself.
