Ben Semmes is the Chief Operating Officer at Monotype, the largest provider of typography, technology, and expertise to creative professionals. In this role, he oversees Monotype’s Technology and Operations Teams, focusing on transforming and building new capabilities to efficiently expand the company’s addressable and serviceable markets. Ben joined Monotype in 2015 and previously served as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to joining Monotype, Ben worked for Pitney Bowes Corporation, serving in several senior leadership positions within the company’s software division since 2006. Ben also previously served in a number of leadership roles at Oracle Corporation from 1997 through 2006. Ben is an advisory board member for Alyce Inc., the world’s first Smart Gifting Platform. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Virginia Institute and a Master of Science degree in Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
