I am a Board Director, Chairperson, Former Vice President and Mayor with almost a decade of board level experience with particular expertise in the Government, Energy, Automation Machinery & Electronics Manufacturing, and Not-for-Profit sectors. I am currently serving as a Board Director at the Australian Cabler Registration Service and on the state board of PCYC Tas, Previously the Vice President of the Local Government Association of Tasmania. In an executive capacity, I am currently the State Manager, Government Relations & Member Engagement at the National Electrical & Communications Association. Previously, I built a career at the local government level as the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Derwent Valley Council. I represented the council as spokesperson and main advocate for the community and acted as the conduit between the council’s strategic operations and government entities. Earlier, as the State Business Manager I have built Triangle Cables business in Tasmania from an unknown entity to one of the largest and most respected cable suppliers in the state. At board level what I do is drive sustainable strategic growth. I do that by leveraging my knowledge in strategy development and implementation, political and advocacy matters, government relationships, community engagement, sales, marketing and business development.Finally, I hold a Diploma of Education, Project Management, from the Institute of Project Management.
