Roles and Responsibilities include:• Supervising and constructing Urban developments.• Organisation and management of earthworks, constructing road pavements, concrete works (kerb and guttering, driveways, cycleways and footpaths, etc. Installation of all underground and aboveground services. Installation of drainage and stormwater pipes & pits.• Engaging and maintaining daily relationships with local authorties (RMS, Local councils.• Communicating with the Project Manager and Client for all on site construction operations.• Direction of Sub Foreman and Leading Hands as well as the direct labour force.• Assisting with review and subsequent awarding of subcontractors, supply agreements and plant hire agreements.• Directing and monitoring of subcontractors, suppliers and plant hirers.• Direction and monitoring of all project survey control.• Assist in the preparation of environmental control plans.• Monitor and maintain relevant dials and service control plans.• Assist in the preparation of project variations including work processess, cost estimates and contract variation negotiations.• Implement all monitoring and reporting requirements of the project.• Monitoring and maintaining construction programs.
